Of all the schools, the name of St. Augustine School of Medical Assistants comes a number of times, which draw my attention and can not avoid a visit to their site. Entering the page I was welcomed by a line reading “An Accredited, Convenient and Affordable On-line Distance Learning Program”, which speaks a lot in its brief message. On revolving round their home pages and other related pages I could gather an impression that the School has a department of distance education through which they offer their knowledge to those who don’t have enough time to spare for regular college education. Moreover, I could read a number of reviews by ex-students from the St. Augustine School of Medical Assistants, who spoke out their heart and commented it as one of the quality on-line school providing enough knowledge to make one self-employed. The reviews were impressive and from that I can gather an impression that the St. Augustine School of Medical Assistants was really dedicating their skill in educating people in the field of medicine, which was offering a certificate in 6-8 weeks. It is really a good job done by the school.

Apart from St. Augustine School of Medical Assistants, the other names in the list that attracted me were Harvard Medical School, which bear the logo, “Learning is a Lifelong Privilege. Medical Assistant Training Schools is another I was in love with at first site. They promise to secure future of their students. That is not a bad way to attract attention. They have a list of educational establishments and they includes American InterContinental University offering BBA, Health-care Management; University of Phoenix On-line offering BSc in Health Care Services; Anthem College On-line offering Health Management, Medical Billing and Coding and a number of institutions with varied specializations to continue. The list goes on, but what I realized is that, the site just provides information about On-line Medical Assistants Courses.

If I still have to name some other such schools and colleges that cater in providing Medical Assistants Courses, than I must speak out the names of aiu On-line(with the banner “Point your career upward”), Excelsior College, Kaplan University, etc.

The on-line education system is strengthened a lot with passage of time. The main reasons for this can be categorize as:

1. Cost effectiveness.

2. Not limited to boundary.

3. Flexible time schedule.

4. Ease of getting enrolled.

5. One can have his choice of colleges.

6. On Job education is possible.

7. Can pursue two or more courses simultaneously.

To summarize, I have to say that with the growing demands in the field of on-line education system, the courses which can offer employment to an unemployed person, has the most viability in this competitive society. It is a great venture to try on, and a great way to educate oneself.
